Sophie Harvey is a strength and conditioning coach at The Royal Ballet School, specialising in rehabilitation. With a background in dance, she has always enjoyed being active and encourages others to enjoy movement for long term health and fulfilment.
Within this workshop, we will explore the training and recovery of elite athletes, predominantly world-class ballet dancers. We learn about the science based approaches to optimise performance and learn tools to apply this in our own training, whether that be for a competitive triathlon, routine gym or yoga session or your first 5k run.
We discuss fads and facts, hacks and quick-fixes, with an opportunity to ask about all areas of your own training. There is also opportunity for a Q&A on life at The Royal Ballet School or in other areas of elite sport.
